Web Design Tips-5 for a Professional Web

Web DesignLike
fashion, web design is constantly changing with the trends and fashions
that come and fashions that come and go. When it comes to creating a website
that will make an impression always will do well to keep everything up
to date and in the trend. After all when you go to an interview you do
not want to look your best?

If you answer then here are 5 critical web design tips to consider “absolutely!”

1.keep clean and free of clutter:

The world around us has become quite messy
and the web is no exception. Ads, banners, icons, logos, banners,
pop-ups, buttons, etc. -Sometimes they can all be a little heavy. Why
not give your site visitors a break from all the noise and clutter?
Embracing things like flat design and white space (you can read more
about these two terms here) can do wonders for the experience of your
site visitor. Try to keep all simplistic or even minimal with only
highlight their most important content. Sometimes less really is more.

2.Do some recon web design:

If you are reading this blog you’re on the right track. But you can
take your research a step further and start looking at the web sites for
a specific purpose: to find out what you like about them and what does
not. Do some mental or actual notes on what you would like to emulate in
your own site. Do you think a page long scroll work well with your
site? Maybe you really admire someone elses approach to your contact
page. It can be something as small as an imitation using an arrow icon
that points to an important message. Whatever it is that you find
attractive think about how you can make it happen in the scheme of designing your own website.

3.Place visual hierarchy of use:

Web Design-8Visual
hierarchy what is that again? It is a term that basically means that
our eyes pay attention to web space in a certain pattern – a pattern
that can help you optimize the important content on your site. For
example if you create a button sign up now you probably want as many
people as possible to click on it and follow through with the
registrat5ion process. Visual hierarchy tells us that the eyes move from
top to bottom left to right. This means you get the most eyes on its
button in the upper left corner of your site and those eyes could well
mean more clicks. Remember only put your most important content in these
coveted spaces – it you put too much in one place your visitor will be
overwhelmed and will not get the result you are aiming for.

4.Make your text easy to read:

The text is important. It is there to provide information and answer
questions even before they have been made. With that said – do not make
your readers squint to read it. There are some simple rules you can join
that will keep you and your text in the clear.

  • Make sure your colors work together. For example: Cream
colored text on a white background or leave your site visitors with a
headache or make them give up and move on. None of these results are
desirable – so make sure you double check all text for ease of reading.

  • Do not use super small font size. While it may look cute
it just is not practical. Make sure your readers will have a magnifying
    glass to find your message.

  • Stand by your sources. Create a theme and even carve a
mark where your site stands just three sources – two could be even
better. For extra points make sure you choose fonts are easy to read and
leave visitors wondering if you are reading Sanskrit.

5.Get the most out of the mobile version of your site:

What good is a website professional looking if not professional
looking on mobile devices? In today’s world no nothing. Do not despair!
The Wix website builder comes fully equipped with an intuitive mobile
editor and is ready to use it to its full potential. Make changes that
keep all the above tips in mind and switch between the editor and the
preview version so you can see the changes put into action. After all
you do not want to miss out on potential visitors / users / clients just
because they’re on the subway right?
